Adobe Confirms No Flash Support for Android 4.1

Adobe has officially confirmed that there would be no Flash support for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Adobe had started in this direction of no Flash from last year, and now it is well on its path. The company believes that HTML5 is the way forward.

From 15th August, 2012 onwards, it will try and halt Flash installations on Android devices through Play Store. In fact, the new Nexus 7 ships without Flash support.

Adobe will continue on security updates and other patches will for the existing users.
