Amazon Kindle for Windows Phone updated – Mango compliant, Pinnable eBooks

Jul 2nd, 2012No Comments

Amazon just updated their Kindle app for Windows Phone, bringing a couple of new features to the table. If you don’t know yet, this Kindle app can be used to read eBooks you’ve purchased from Amazon, directly on your Windows Phone. The app now stands at v1.2, being the second update after the launch of the app.

Here’s what it brings to the table -

  • Mango compliant (wow, that was quick!), multi-tasking support and fast app switching
  • Pinnable eBooks, two-sided Live Tile
  • Now available in Japan, Portugal, Brazil, Poland, Sweden and other regions

If you’ve been using this app to read eBooks, go update it! It’s a pretty good update, considering it’s finally Mango-compliant and supports multi-tasking.
