Angry Birds, PES not working on budget WP7 devices

May 28th, 2012No Comments

Glossy online tech site – The Verge have just pushed out a post highlighting that the popular bird game – Angry Birds will not be compatible with budget Windows Phone 7 devices. PES2012 from Konami too is out of the reckoning. With Skype already out from budget Windows Phone 7 devices, this latest update comes as a big blow for Microsoft.

Microsoft which wants to increase adoption of the platform at lower price points with lower hardware requirements will probably have to now get their whole act together, because if only a few apps will be affected (5%) and if the ‘few’ apps happen to be crowd favourites, then well the whole exercise would have been in vain.

This whole thing is beginning to look like one’s jumping from a fire into a hot frying pan. Le Sigh!

UPDATE: Here’s some visual proof as well (Thanks Siraj)-
