Infographic: For Every $1 Spent On Google Play, $2.45 Are Spent On Apple’s App Store

Here’s some interesting bit of information, neatly mentioned in an infographic. The said infographic compares two app stores – Google’s Play, and Apple’s App Store. I’ll try and summarize it quickly -

People spend 2.45 times the money on App Store than on Google Play

  • US, UK and Japan together generate more revenue than the rest of the world, for both Google Play and App Store
  • Both Google Play and App Store growing at the same rate of 14%
  • 35% of the downloads are from US, for Google Play, whereas for App Store, it’s 28%. However, the downloads are better distributed for App Store, whereas Google Play still needs to catch up in this area.
