Leaked images show a 64GB Vertu Phone running WP8

Jun 14th, 2012No Comments

in the midst of the Vertu sale to EQT VI, a small leak has surfaced involving a new unnamed Vertu device running what looks like Windows Phone Apollo or 8, however you like to call it.

The leak is big news because well Vertu has now been sold to a private equity firm in Europe. That and the fact that it is sporting an unreleased build of Windows Phone and a mammoth 64GB of internal memory.

The leaked photos show some unseen images of what the possible new version of Windows Phone will have inbuilt into the ROM. One of them being ‘Cloud Storage’ functionality.

Let’s wait for Vertu to announce the phone, until then this is very much a leak/rumour. The leak also mentions that current WP7.5 devices will get a reduced functionality WP8 upgrade ala Apple, but this again is unconfirmed news.

Here’s all the pictures we could get of this unannounced Windows Phone from Vertu.
