New CM9 build for Note adds S-Pen support, becomes somewhat more usable now

May 1st, 2012No Comments

The CM9 team has been hard a t work at porting their version of Android on the Galaxy Note and why not, after all there’s a lot of Note owners out there waiting to get their hands on the CM9 flavour for their Note. The initial build that was released it seems wasn’t quite up to the mark and had quite a few problems. However the latest build, Build #2 seems to have fixed quite a few problems and also brought the S-Pen functionality to their ROM for the Note.

In addition to that video recording, microphone related issues and the latest round of changes to the CM9 trunk have also been included. There still a few bugs to be quashed, but hey if you just can’t wait and need to try the new build, you can head on to the XDA forum for the downloads and installation instructions.
