Nikon Celebrates World Photography Day in India
Nikon India celevbrates World Photography Day (WPD) on the 19th of August in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore. Nikon India will be conducting a photo walk with photography enthusiasts within the four regions along with a discussion with the renowned photographer- Raghu Rai in the capital.
This photowalk will cover topics such as exposure control, creative use of white-Balance, controlling depth-of-field etc. It is an extension to the Nikon School initiative that offers specialized services for amateurs and photography enthusiasts by providing expert guidance and insights on photography through workshops and training classes known as Nikon School.
The company plans to celebrate WPD on August 19, at Mehrauli Archeological Park in Delhi, Victoria Terminus (CST) to Kala Ghoda in Mumbai, Howrah Bridge to Princep Ghat in Kolkata and at Lal Bhag in Bangalore. The event welcomes photographers from all fraternities irrespective of their professional excellence in photography.

Nikon India celebrates World Photography Day
Nikon India, the 100% subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, will be celebrating the World Photography Day(WPD) on 19th August 2012 in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore, as a part of the company’s efforts to promote photography in India. Celebrating the day of the art of photography, Nikon India will be conducting a photo walk with photography enthusiasts within the four regions along with a discussion with the renowned photographer- Raghu Rai in the capital.
The photo walk organized by Nikon India will cover topics such as exposure control, creative use of white-Balance, controlling depth-of-field etc. It is an extension of the Nikon School initiative that offers specialized services for amateurs and photography enthusiasts by providing expert guidance and insights on photography through workshops and training classes known as Nikon School.

All participants at the Nikon WPD celebrations will get a chance to enter a contest through which they can submit their entries for the best clicked image, and also the winners will get Mr. Raghu Rai’s expert review & his coffee table book on Delhi.
