Nokia issuing small update to rectify sound update problem in Lumia 800

May 2nd, 2012No Comments

I’ve been hearing about this sound related issue some Lumia users have been facing and although I’ve not hit any rough patch with regard to it, Nokia is listening and taking note.

Nokia hasn’t made any official comments on it, but many users around the world have said that they have started receiving an update. So I guess you can plug in your Lumia 800 and see if you’ve got it or not.

The update fixes issues with regard to how the sound output was after the build PR12070 update was applied by users.

Users have reported erratic sound controls during media playback and gaming. Some of them even complained that the volume level in the ringer levels 1 and 2 was loud enough as the levels in much higher levels.

Anyhow the current patch (PR12072) should rectify the problem.

Now if we only got the WiFi tether update as well!
