Now BBM only for Rs.129 a month on Airtel postpaid
Well, the Vodafone plan of Rs.129 in Mumbai which offered unlimited BlackBerry Messaging to postpaid and prepaid customers was a short lived glory. The plan which was going to be made available in the rest of the circles from next week, just got upped by Bharti Airtel.
In a swift move, just before the day came to a close, Airtel launched a similar scheme for its postpaid customers.
There’s no word right now on whether this is a pan-India scheme, but it seems like it is so. The scheme is applicable in all circles (India) where Bharti Airtel provides BlackBerry services.
We’re hoping this makes it to prepaid subscribers too.
Here’s the details -
Bharti Airtel, leading global telecommunications company with operations in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, has announced that starting today, its postpaid mobile customers using BlackBerry smartphones can subscribe to the all new “BBM Plan” on Airtel. Now available @ Rs 129 per month, this plan will allow customers to enjoy unlimited use of *Blackberry Messenger (BBM) and free 300 local + national SMS in a month.
