Samsung Galaxy S3 to be launched in France on 22nd March
We all know that Samsung had clearly stated that they would not be launching the Samsung Galaxy S3 variant at MWC, but at a later event sometime soon. It seems the dates and the place have been outed.
The Verge reports that Samsung will be holding a media event in France on the 22nd of March and it is likely that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be launched then.
Even more interesting is that the phone may be just 7mm thin or thick. Currently the Galaxy S2 comes in at 8.49mm. The reduction is expected to be made via improvements to the AMOLED screen technology that Samsung is reportedly working on.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a widely awaited phone and the first ‘true’ superphone. We know for sure that the phone will be a quad-core processor equipped, 4.5″+ Super AMOLED+ screen (HD resolution) and NFC toting Android phone with 2gigs of RAM.
With those specs I doubt people will want to buy a netbook or a PC anymore!
