Samsung launches Tab 750 and 730 in India

Samsung has just announced the launch of its two new Android tablets in Delhi. Both the tablets are ofcourse powered by Android (3.1 version). The tablets have almost similar hardware and software specs barring the screen size. While the model 750 has a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 the model 730 has a 8.9 inch screen size with same screen resolution. Under the hood for both the tablets comes a 1GHZ dual core Tegra 2 processor and 1GB of RAM. The Tab 750 is equipped with a rear facing 8 megapixel autofocus camera and a
front facing 2 megapixel to enjoy video calling.

On the other hand Tab 730 comes with a 3 megapixel camera on the back but the same 2 megapixel camera in the front. Also these devices will run Android Honeycomb coupled with Samsung’s own Touchwiz 4.0 version. Apart from that there are usual features in these tablets like Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, standard 3.5 mm jack support.

While the pricing of the tablets is still not very clear the Tab 750 Wifi+3G version will cost around Rs. 36,200 and Rs. 33,900 for Tab 730, both for 16GB variants. Interestingly these tablets will come pre -loaded with ‘My Reader” app to enable its users to read thousands of Indian books as well as some magazines and newspapers too. What else, you can even watch as many as 55 Indian channels right on these Tablets through inbuilt Mobile TV. Samsung has also tied up with Vodafone to provide their customers free 2GB per month of 3G usage for the first 6 months at a concessional rate of Rs. 3000. You can buy these Tablets from a retailer by the end of this month.
