Samsung to not hold press conference at MWC this year: Akin to pulling out

Feb 8th, 20121 Comment

Ok I just posted about The Samsung Galaxy S3 not being launched at the March 22nd event in France and then this bomb shell drops.

It seems Samsung has conveyed to the organizers that they will not be holding a press conference at this year’s global trade show. But don’t worry Samsung will showcase existing phones and new phones and devices at MWC.

Samsung has been generating quite a lot of news in the past few weeks. It’s amazing and the scale and frequency is quite unusual for Samsung. The company has been in overdrive, almost on a mission to become No.1 as soon as possible.

One thing is however certain, the only big launch expected from Samsung this year at MWC will be the Samsung Galaxy S2+

This year is a very important year for Samsung as it is expected to launch new tablets featuring the newer Exynos 5250 chips and then there’s the the announcement on Tizen. Remember MeeGo project was renamed to Tizen and Samsung further announced later that it was merging Bada with Tizen.

You can now be ensured that the bigger, thinner and flashier Galaxy devices will now be launched at Samsung’s own events as against MWC or CES.
