Sony announces Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual

Jun 13th, 2012No Comments

Sony is looking to storm the Android market and seems keen on having competing products. In keeping with this new mantra, Sony has made official the Tipo and Tipo Dual phones.

Both the phones are pretty much entry level Android smartphones (with pretty good specs) and will be running Ice Cream Sandwich. The Tipo is a single SIM offering while the Tipo Dual is a dual SIM offering.

Both the phones are powered ay a Qualcomm SnapDragon processor (800MHz) and a 3.2″ TFT capacitive screen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels (scratch resistant mineral glass display). There’s about 2.5GB of internal memory that’s accessible to the consumer. Micro SD cards are supported up to 32GB and there’s a big 1500mAh battery in it. Bluetooth and WiFi complete the picture and of course the 99.4gms phone has a 3.2MP camera.

Here’s a sneak peak at the two new devices from Sony.
