Sony Xperia phone names outed!

Sony’s newest phone is going to be called the Xperia SP. The Indonesian telecom portal – Telecom Postelhas revealed the name for the Sony C530X (C5302, C5303, C5306) ‘Huashan’ will be Sony Xperia SP.

This means that the phone will be a part of the Xperia NXT series. It’s display size (720p display) will be similar to the Xperia S and will have an aluminum chassis (hence the ‘S’ and ‘P’ in the name). The Xperia SP will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T chipset with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and Adreno 320 graphics.

The other phone from Sony, a lower end device, C210X (C2104, C2105), will be called the Sony Xperia L. The Xperia L is expected to have a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon chipset (either the MSM8227 or MSM8627) with Adreno 305 graphics. It will also have a FWVGA resolution (480 x 854) display, virtual buttons and run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out f the box. There’s no word on other specs and release dates uptil now.
