Swype Gets a Major Update

Jun 25th, 2012No Comments

One of the most popular Android apps, Swype, has been updated. This is its first update after being acquired by Nuance, the company known for its speech recognition technology.  The beta version can be downloaded from here.

As expected, this new version incorporates the company’s voice dictation system as well as handwriting recognition. It is, indeed, a combination of Swype’s existing USPs and Nuance’s technology, with a cleaner look.
