Samsung looking to mass produce Exynos 5250 in Q2 2012

At the Samsung earnings call yesterday, Samsung confirmed that the Exynos 5250 SoC is going to go into production in Q2 of 2012. Samsung’s executives has stated that this dual core processor will first see action in tablets and later on cell phones.

The developers responsible for the Vibrant (Galaxy S variant) have just said that they are unable to enable ’911′ support on the firmware for that phone and as a result are dropping support for it. The developer team has stated that they have been unable to fix this rather persistent bug
